Minnesota winters are a new experience for the majority of LIS students. Most come from climates where heat is a problem, not cold. Needless to say, warm clothing is essential to survival here. Generous donors to LIS gave a welcome supply of hand-made warm hats and scarves. The women pictured were so happy to receive them and immediately tried them on. Their smiles are their thank you’s.
